Andrea and I have both always dreamed of having an aquarium. Our pasion has now brought us to a point of having two so far. One 55gal. that we have fresh water fish in, and a 75gal. which we set up as a salt tank. | ||||||||||||||||

We have learned through trial and error what should be done and shoulldn't.Our advise is to read a lot, which we will give you some sights that helped us, and to talk to a lot of people. But only apply 50% what you hear and what you read to your tank. Through heart ache and not to mention the money we have learned to go more on instinct, and the personallities of our fish. One think we learned was to look at pictures of all the fish we liked, list them with what you already have and then take the list to your favorite place and let them reveiw it with you to see what would make a good community. | Tips | ||||||||||||||||

| Making the list |
We found a wonderfull fish shop after shopping 9 stores, buying fish from all of them, losing fish, returning fish, and have settled on one store. We determined all of this on, tank quality, selection, price, knowledge, wilingness to help, not wanting to sell us anything we wanted, returning fish that didn't match our other fishes personallities. There are a lot of stores that actlike they know what there doing but we've found there only fooling you and theirselfs. | ||||||||||||||||
